Values of a Catholic Education
The Values of a Catholic Education
I treasure many things in my life, but the things I treasure most are my family, my friends, and a good education. Since I want an excellent curriculum, I attend Sacred Heart School. Given that Sacred Heart is a Catholic school, they not only teach us extraordinary lessons for the future, but they teach us about the wonders of God. I feel as though I am a part of the family when I walk through the doors of my school. I love the fact that I am learning in a drug-free environment. I learn the values of trust, honesty, friendship, and faith during my school days at Sacred Heart. This school shows me compassion and love. This school also pushes me to my fullest potential and helps me until I succeed in my goals. The values that I learn in school will stay with me throughout my life. Sacred Heart School is almost like a second family to me because everyone makes me feel happy and comfortable. I feel secure at Sacred Heart because the love at this school is like no other. It is a type of care and love that will never die. The days that I have spent here are days of learning and filling my mind with magnificent techniques and equipment for the future. When I am at Sacred Heart, I feel as though I am under God’s wing because I am learning and absorbing new ideas in a safe atmosphere.
Sacred Heart School, my family, and my friends support my values in every way they can. They help me achieve my goals and encourage me to do the best I possibly can. I have developed healthy relationships with my friends and family during my stay at Sacred Heart. The teachers at my school are amazing according to how they teach and the kind of people they are. They do not just want to see their students grow in knowledge, but they want to act as a guardian for whenever one of their students needs them. The entire faculty bring joy to this school and act as great role models who young people can look up to.
Everyone in this school wants to see their students grow in peace, love, and justice and maintain the good qualities that they possess. They also try to teach their students character traits that will sculpt them into better people. My friends also support me in many ways. Sacred Heart of Jesus Church is also a good source of support and brings me closer to God in numerous ways. I take all of the advice that I can acquire and use it in my daily life. This school has taught me about the value of a wonderful education, and it provides me with the best education there is that will get me far in life. There are many people that I love in my life, and they all support me including the teachers and faculty at my school. Overall, this school has taught me many things, but the values I learned from this school can never be taken away from me.

The essential values in my life are my friends, family, and religion. In my time at Sacred Heart, I have discovered that these values are most important to me. I believe that friends play a major role in a child’s life, and my friends are no exception. I think religion is important because I am a strong believer in my faith. I believe Sacred Heart is my second family. It acts the same way that family members would for one another. Everyone in the school is so kind and loving.
The values that Sacred Heart portrays are education and religion. I believe a Catholic education helps support all of my values. Our teachers not only teach us regular academic subjects, but also how to become a better person. We have been taught to always treat others the way we want to be treated. A Catholic education has taught me all that I know to this day. To me, it does not seem that I would get the same education in any other educational institution. I am glad to be a student at Sacred Heart.

The thing I value the most is keeping my focus on my school work and not letting outside issues effect my grades. My family and friends are also very important parts of my life. I value having small classes and help from my teachers whenever I need it. I believe in always getting grades the fair way and never cheating. I value having an opportunity to praise God anytime of the day in a catholic environment.
A catholic school helps me keep these values. In Sacred Heart they strive to make sure all students are focused on their work. Family values are important to Sacred Heart. I love going to this school because most of my friends go here and we have so much fun while were learning. Small classes allow me to focus better without a lot of distractions and the teachers help you if you don’t understand something. Catholic schools try to emphasize a no cheating policy. Being able to praise God anytime of the day in a catholic school strengthens our beliefs. If I had to choose between going to a public school or a catholic school, I would defiantly choose a catholic school.

One of the most important things in my life is my faith. I have come to learn from it, depend on it, and appreciate the importance it has in my life. My faith has taught me that patience is a virtue, treat others as God would want you to treat others and, above all, use your God-given talents to make a difference in this world. My faith is closely connected with the values my parents have raised me with. They have taught me that anything worth having is worth working for; that if you have nothing nice to say – don’t say anything; and every person and event happen in our life for a reason. Another thing that my grandmother always says is that faith makes things possible, not easy.
A Catholic education supports all of these values because of the basic influence God has had since the beginning. No matter how you word or say anything mentioned above, it is living the Beatitudes. Quite simply, my parents have always enforced the Beatitudes and how important it is to live by them. Having a Catholic education makes it that much more important. With religion as a daily class, it reminds me that God is in every part of my life – even school. I cannot imagine being in a school that does not permit me to pray, celebrate my faith, or make God a part of daily life. I feel not only blessed, but extremely fortunate, that my parents have made the decision to send my sisters and me to Catholic school.
