Mrs. Joyce Baio - 6th Grade

Mrs. Baio received her BA from Montclair University and holds New Jersey Teacher certification in elementary education and K-12 Language Arts. Having previously taught at St. Mary’s School in Wharton, she joined the faculty at Sacred Heart School in 1999 full-time. All four of her children are graduates of Sacred Heart School, and her youngest son now attends Morris Catholic High School.  She feels that the special attributes of Sacred Heart School include its dedicated teaching staff and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the entire school community.  She loves working with students in all age groups and tries to create a bright, attractive classroom environment for her students.  Her goal is to implement Language Arts activities across the curriculum and take her students on a fun-filled learning journey as they explore different activities, places, and areas of the curriculum together. Mrs. Baio feels that it is important to provide a warm, loving home environment in the classroom and to focus on the development of strong character traits in her students.
