Mrs. Joyce Baio - 6th Grade

Mrs. Baio received her BA from Montclair University, and holds a New Jersey teaching certification in elementary education and K-12 Language Arts & English. Having previously taught at Sacred Heart School, Mrs. Baio returned full-time in 1999. Three of her four children are graduates of Sacred Heart School, and her youngest son now attends Sacred Heart School.  She feels that the special attributes of Sacred Heart School include its dedicated teachers and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the entire school community.  She loves working with the students and tries to create a pleasant, attractive classroom environment.  Her goal is to implement Language Arts activities across the curriculum, and take her students on a learning, fun-filled journey as they explore different activities, places and areas of the curriculum together. Mrs. Baio feels that it is important to provide a warm, loving home environment, and to focus on the development of strong character traits.
