Sr. Marie Dilorenzo - Principal

Sr. Marie DiLorenzo (Principal) Sr. Marie received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of St. Elizabeth in NJ, and she received a Masters Degree from Seton Hall University. She taught for 20 years, and has been at Sacred Heart all tolled for 41 years. Sister became Principal in 1986. She enjoys working with the faculty and staff to create the very best learning environment for our children. She is a member of the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother. Sister Marie feels that Sacred Heart School is truly a “miracle school”. There is no other full school (pre-K through 8th grade) in the Diocese with such a small parish, and it takes the total commitment of the schools’ family of faculty, staff and parents to create such a warm and loving learning environment. Her advice to parents is simply, yet profound: be totally involved in our children’s lives and make them feel special, so they can grow academically, socially and spiritually. As always, she urges us to pile on as much love as possible.
