Mrs. Linda Kanapaux - 4th Grade

Mrs. Kanapaux graduated with a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and has been teaching at Sacred Heart School since 1989.  She was raised with a Catholic education, and both of her children attended Sacred Heart School.  Mrs. Kanapaux teaches English to our 3^rd and 4^th graders, and she feels that reading is vital to learning, and the more you read, the more you know. Her philosophy of education emphasizes a strong background in the basic skills of reading, writing, math and comprehension, and in addition, she also believes that it is important to teach children about God and to instill in them good moral values.  Her greatest satisfaction is from being able to share her religious beliefs with her students, especially sharing the rosary or discussing saints.
