Mrs. Janet Maulbeck - Secretary

Any past or present member of the Sacred Heart School Community will tell you that the heart and soul of the children and parents at SHS is our very own school secretary, Mrs. Janet Maulbeck.

Mrs. Maulbeck has been with Sacred Heart for 18 years as of the 2006-2007 school year. She has been married to her wonderful husband for 30 years and they have lived in Rockaway Borough for all of their married years.

Mrs. Maulbeck has three terrific sons that all attended Sacred Heart since pre-school. Her sons are often seen in the school helping out with various things, especially with the computers.

Mrs. Maulbeck’s sons are Joey, Andrew and Kevin. She is very proud of her sons and their accomplishments.

Joey graduated from Sacred Heart School in 1996.  He attended Morris Hills High School and graduated from Morris County College of Morris and will be graduating from Ramapo College of New Jersey this spring with honors (was on the Dean's list all 4 years).  He will be pursuing a Masters degree in psychology.

Andrew graduated from Sacred Heart School in 1998.  He attended Morris Hills High School and graduated with honors (was on the Dean's list all 4 years) from The College of New Jersey with a B.S.M.E. degree.  At the present time, he is a Mechanical Engineer at Picatinny Arsenal as well as pursuing his Masters degree at Steven's Institute of technology. 

Kevin graduated from Sacred Heart School in 2001.  He attended Morris Hills High School and is currently a Graphic Arts Major in The College of New Jersey (he too had honors status).  He is also a published graphic artist. Kevin is one of the goalies for TCNJ soccer and also an "All American in Track" (5th in the nation).

All 3 of hers sons are avid snowboarders.

Anything you need to know about SHS, be sure to ask Mrs. Maulbeck. Every September, it is known that she can be seen crying along side the kindergarten mothers and comforting them as their “babies” go off to school for the first days.
