Mrs. Jacqueline Hendershot Sapio - 7th Grade

Mrs. Jacqueline Hendershot Sapio has been an educator for twenty-five years. Her earliest teaching experience began as a student teacher, while receiving her undergraduate degree at Tusculum College. After receiving a BA degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Science Education, she returned to New Jersey to teach in a bi-lingual program, because of her ability to speak Spanish. While teaching at Sacred Heart School, Mrs. Sapio received her Master's Degree in Counseling from Montclair State University. Her teaching experience at SHS has afforded her the opportunity to pursue her academic interests in the context of Christian values. Because of the academic freedom to teach in the context of Christian values, her teaching experience with Sacred Heart School has been rewarding for all of her students and herself. All of her children have attended Sacred Heart because she believes the education they have received is a strong foundation in academics and study skills and it is aligned with Christian morals and values, which are the guideline for determining a person's integrity.
