Monsignor John Hart (Pastor/Administrator)

Monsignor Hart received his BA in French from Seton Hall University, completed his priesthood studies at Immaculate Conception Seminary and earned an M.A. in Theology with a concentration in Sacred Scripture.  He was ordained a priest on May 9, 1981.  In 1990, he earned his J.C.L. (licentiate in canon law), and was appointed as Pastor of St. Cecilia parish in 1996, Administrator of Sacred Heart of Jesus in 1999, and Chancellor of the Diocese of Paterson.   Monsignor John was named a Chaplin of Honor to his Holiness in 2003.  Monsignor John helps us to have the opportunities to grow in wisdom and grace before God and one another. We are indeed blessed to be led by Monsignor John and the other priests, who do so much to help in our endeavor to deepen the knowledge of the word of God, and experience the joy and peace that Jesus intends for us.
