Check in with Mrs. Bloom, our wonderful and knowledgeable staff librarian in our own brand new SHS Libary!

All students have regularly scheduled library time once a week. Students are taught a broad range of library learning activities appropriate to their age/grade group. There are also read-alouds, videos and research activities which compliment grade or classroom themes of study. Internet connected computers are also in the library for research and study.

It is hoped that at an early age, the students literary appetite will thus be wetted, and a greater interest in their regular reading classes stimulated.

Books are checked out for one week periods and can be renewed.

Books should be returned promptly. Lost or damaged books must be paid for so they can be replaced.

Thank you to one of our generous parents for renovating Sacred Heart's 3-car garage into a new, spacious library and donating time and furniture. This new facility will be able to accommodate an entire class at one time for stories, instruction and book selection.

" I love that we learn so much, in so many subjects. We have math, science and reading but we also have religion so we can learn more about Jesus and how to live like a Christian.

I love Aftercare here, and the stuff they have right here after school like Mad Science is really cool!

It's a privilege to go here. Not just some place you show up at."
