On Monday, April 30, 2007, our entire school participated in our second annual Race for Education. This event enabled SHS to raise funds so that Sacred Heart School will continue to maintain our high standard of excellence in Catholic education. Each of the participants raised funds by asking sponsors to contribute either a tax deductible amount based on the number of laps completed (i.e., $1.00 per lap, etc.) or a flat donation.
The event was a fun day for all. The Race for Education is our annual jog-a-thon, which involves students walking and/or jogging around a designated area for one hour. The students walked and jogged to the music of a Disc-Jockey that played everyone's favorite music.
